Special focus is on new construction.
This also includes member-owner requests for additional service, upgrades and other related inquiries.
Essential Job Functions Communicate with member-owners concerning specifications, project status, requirements for Service, cost, easements and various other items necessary to extend service.
Schedule appointments for staking technicians to meet Members.
Prepare cost Estimates for projects.
Manage project to ensure all applications, easement, project costs, located, permits and data entry are completed prior to construction.
Review contractor invoicing to ensure that bills units are correct and agree with the work done, along with properly accounting for the invoices.
Prepare copies and process all approvals, review contractor agreements to ensure they are kept up to date.
Organize and track easements for filing by county, research easements, accounts, work orders, and other items, as needed to assist Members.
Prepare various monthly and annual reports.
Maintain and ensure Pole contracts are kept up-to-date.
Assist Systems Engineer.
Perform any and all other functions and requirements of the position as may be from time to time deemed necessary by the Manager.
Position Requirements Education Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
1-2 years' experience with Work Orders Utility experience preferred Job Training:
On-going training in customer service and computer skills Communication Skills:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle confidential information.
Handling Member inquiries in-person and on the telephone regarding existing and new accounts.
Develop letters and emails regarding information for new construction.
Computer Skills:
Creating and updating member information, creating letters to members, Using Excel for monthly reports and cost analyst and adjustment to accounts.
Analytical Skills:
Using cost estimates for jobs using information for staking sheets.
Coordinating Skills Scheduling appointments for staking technicians manage and maintain paperwork for work orders and Member information.
Time management skills are a must in order to accomplish all daily tasks required.
Influencing Skills:
Must be able to enlighten the Member-Owners in such a way that they see the true value of the product and services provided by the Cooperative.
